Twins announce front office promotions

Team names four new vice presidents

Minneapolis/St. Paul - The Minnesota Twins announced today a number of front office promotions highlighted by the naming of four new vice presidents: Rob Antony to Vice President, Assistant General Manager; Mike Clough to Vice President, Ticket Sales & Service; Paul Froehle to Vice President, Ticket Operations; and Nancy O'Brien to Vice President, Brand Marketing.

Rob Antony joined the Twins organization in 1988 and has served as the team's Assistant General Manager since 2007. In his role as Vice President, Assistant General Manager, Antony will be responsible for major league contracts, including arbitration; the evaluation of major and minor league players; and day-to-day oversight of the club's video, baseball analytics and baseball communications departments. Prior to being named Assistant General Manager, Antony worked as Director, Baseball Operations (1995-2007); Director, Media Relations (1991-1995); and Assistant Director, Media Relations (1988-1991). A Minneapolis native and graduate of the University of Minnesota, Antony and his wife Lynn have two children and reside in Plymouth, Minn.

Mike Clough joined the Twins organization in 2009 and has served as the franchise's Senior Director, Ticket Sales & Service since 2012. In his role as Vice President, Ticket Sales & Service, Clough is responsible for the team's ticket sales effort which includes management of ballclub's season, premium, group and single-game ticket holder relationships. Clough joined the Twins as Director, Ticket Sales & Service following a six-year (2003-2009) leadership tenure with the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning and a five-year (1998-2003) sales-focused stint with the New York Islanders. A native of Long Island, New York and graduate of Robert Morris University, Clough and his wife Megan have two children and reside in Maple Grove, Minn.

Paul Froehle joined the Twins organization in 1985 and has served as the ballclub's Senior Director, Ticket Operations since 2010. In his role as Vice President, Ticket Operations, Froehle is responsible for the distribution, processing and reporting of all tickets associated with Twins baseball and Target Field events. Froehle started his Twins career as a part-time ticket seller before being promoted to Manager, Ticket Operations and eventually Director, Ticket Operations in 1999. A native of Fridley, Minn. and graduate of North Hennepin Community College, Froehle resides in Minneapolis.

Nancy O'Brien joined the Twins organization in 2000 and has served as the team's Senior Director, Brand Marketing since 2009. In her role as Vice President, Marketing, O'Brien is responsible for the development of the Twins brand and related advertising and promotional strategies. O'Brien also oversees the club's emerging markets group as well as business intelligence and analytics departments. O'Brien's Twins tenure has included stints as Manager, Advertising (2000-2001) and Director, Advertising (2001-2009). Prior to joining the Twins, O'Brien held marketing and advertising roles with the Oakland Athletics (1997-1998); Boland Marketing and Advertising (1995-1997); and University of Minnesota Athletics (1990-1995). A native Minnesotan, O'Brien is a graduate of the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management as well as St. Olaf College. O'Brien and her husband John have three children and reside in Plymouth, Minn.

In addition, the following members of the Twins front office were also promoted: Dan Starkey to Senior Director, Ballpark Development; Sean Harlin to Director, Major League Video; Chris Iles to Director, Corporate and Digital Communications; Sam Henschen to Senior Manager, Twins Productions; Brandon Johnson to Senior Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics; and Dana Minion to Senior Manager, Ballpark Maintenance.
