Twins designate Burroughs

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have designated infielder Sean Burroughs for release or assignment to make room on the 25-man roster for catcher Drew Butera.

In 10 games with the Twins this season, Burroughs batted .118 (2-for-17) with one double and one RBI.
