TWINS OPTION ALEX MEYER

Ft. Myers, FL - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have optioned right-handed pitcher Alex Meyer to Triple-A Rochester. Meyer made three appearances this spring, going 1-0 with a 1.59 ERA (5.2 IP, 1 ER), seven walks and six strikeouts.

The Twins now have 44 players in camp (11 non-roster): 20 pitchers (2 non-roster), 6 catchers (3 non-roster), 10 infielders (3 non-roster) and 8 outfielders (3 non-roster).
