Twins Option Michael Tonkin

Ft. Myers, FL - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have optioned right-handed pitcher Michael Tonkin to Triple-A Rochester. Tonkin made four appearances this spring, allowing four runs (3 earned) on nine hits in 4.0 innings pitched with one walk and five srikeouts.

The Twins now have 43 players in camp (11 non-roster): 19 pitchers (2 non-roster), 6 catchers (3 non-roster), 10 infielders (3 non-roster) and 8 outfielders (3 non-roster).
