Twins place Arcia on disabled list

Recall Eddie Rosario from Triple-A Rochester

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed outfielder Oswaldo Arcia on the 15-day disabled list with a right hip flexor strain. He suffered the injury in yesterday's win over the White Sox. Arcia has played in 19 games, hitting .276 (16-for-58) with two home runs and eight RBI.

To replace Arcia on the 25-man roster, the Twins have recalled outfielder Eddie Rosario from Triple-A Rochester. The 23-year-old played in 23 games for the Red Wings, hitting .242 (23-for-95) with two doubles, one triple, three home runs and 12 RBI. Rosario, who will wear uniform number 20, will be looking to make his major league debut.
