Twins place Hicks on 15-Day Disabled List

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed outfielder Aaron Hicks on the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain. He suffered the injury during the second game of yesterday's doubleheader in Washington.

To replace Hicks on the 25-man roster, the Twins will recall outfielder Oswaldo Arcia from Triple-A Rochester prior to tomorrow's game with Philadelphia. Arcia has appeared in 30 games in two previous stints with the Twins this season, hitting .255 (25-for-98) with four home runs and 14 RBI.
