Twins place Ramirez on 7-day DL, recall Herrmann

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed outfielder Wilkin Ramirez on the 7-day disabled list with concussion-like symptoms.

To replace Ramirez on the 25-man roster, the Twins will recall catcher/outfielder Chris Herrmann from Triple-A Rochester in time for tomorrow's game at Milwaukee. In 43 games for the Red Wings, Herrmann hit .238 (36-for-151) with five doubles, 12 RBI, 16 walks and 17 runs scored.
