TWINS TO RECALL AARON THOMPSON

FROM TRIPLE-A ROCHESTER

Ft. Myers, FL - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they will recall left-handed pitcher Aaron Thompson from Triple-A Rochester to take the roster spot of recently suspended right-handed pitcher Ervin Santana. Thompson was optioned to Rochester on March 31 after making seven spring appearances, going 1-1 with a 2.16 ERA (8.1 IP, 2 ER), two walks and six strikeouts.
