Twins recall Slegers from Rochester

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Aaron Slegers from Triple-A Rochester. Slegers made 24 starts for the Red Wings this season, going 15-4 with a 3.40 ERA (148.1 IP, 56 ER), 29 walks and 119 strikeouts.

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Aaron Slegers from Triple-A Rochester. Slegers made 24 starts for the Red Wings this season, going 15-4 with a 3.40 ERA (148.1 IP, 56 ER), 29 walks and 119 strikeouts.
The 6-foot-10, 245-pound right-hander made one start for the Twins on August 17 vs. Cleveland in game two of a doubleheader and pitched 6.1 innings, allowing two runs on two hits with two walks and three strikeouts. He is scheduled to make the start on Wednesday afternoon at Tampa Bay.
