Twins Spring Training Tickets Go On Sale Saturday, January 11

The Minnesota Twins today announced that single-game tickets for the 2014 Spring Training campaign go on sale on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 9 a.m. EST (8 a.m. CST). For the first time, fans will be able to experience Hammond Stadium's ongoing upgrades including a new 360-degree boardwalk and outfield concourse, new berm seating in left field and an expanded seating capacity.

Single-game tickets can be purchased beginning Saturday, Jan. 11 at www.twinsbaseball.com, by calling 1-800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467), by visiting the Hammond Stadium box office in Fort Myers or the Target Field box office in Minneapolis. Beginning Saturday, Jan. 11, box office hours at Hammond Stadium are from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (EST) Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. (EST) on Saturday and Sunday. The Hammond Stadium box office will have extended hours on Saturday, Jan. 11, as tickets can be purchased from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (EST) on that day as well as during home games.

Twins pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report on Sunday, Feb. 16, with their first workout slated for Monday, Feb. 17. The balance of the squad is scheduled to report on Friday, Feb. 21, with full-squad workouts beginning on Saturday, Feb. 22.

The Twins' 2014 Grapefruit League schedule features 31 games (16 home, 15 road) in total starting with a Friday, Feb. 28 road matchup at the World Champion Boston Red Sox. The Twins will open their home Spring Training slate Saturday, March 1 versus the Red Sox at Hammond Stadium.

Additional highlights of the Twins' home Grapefruit League schedule include two additional games against the Red Sox (Thursday, March 13 and Friday, March 28); a visit by NL Champion St. Louis Cardinals (Thursday, March 6); visits by the NL Wild Card Pittsburgh Pirates (Wednesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 26); visits by AL Wild Card Tampa Bay Rays (Tuesday, March 18 and Monday, March 24); and a visit by the New York Yankees (Saturday, March 22).

Spring Training Fan Experience Packages Now Available

Again this year, the Minnesota Twins are offering exclusive travel packages, allowing fans to experience Spring Training in Fort Myers, Florida like never before. Packages include game tickets, choice of hotel accommodations, car rental, exclusive pre-game breakfasts with select players and field personnel, custom Twins travel merchandise and flight travel options.

"Grand Slam" packages, which include the exclusive pre-game meet and greets, will be held March 13 - 16 and March 20 - 23. In addition, two "Early Spring Special" weekends (do not include the meet and greets) will be held Feb. 28 - March 2 and March 7 - 9. A new "Senior Package" will include a special, fully escorted trip for senior Twins fans from March 23 - 29.
