The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that two Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that two Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
Arizona Diamondbacks Minor League right-handed pitcher Austin Mason has received a 50-game suspension without pay following a second positive test for a drug of abuse. The suspension of Mason, who is currently on the roster of the Single-A Kane County Cougars of the Midwest League, will be effective at the start of the 2016 Midwest League season.
Chicago White Sox Minor League right-handed pitcher Lucas Shearrow has received a 50-game suspension without pay following a second positive test for a drug of abuse. The suspension of Shearrow, who is currently on the roster of the rookie-level Great Falls Voyagers of the Pioneer League, will be effective at the start of the 2016 Pioneer League season.
