The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that two Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that two Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
Baltimore Orioles Minor League left-handed pitcher Felix Rutledge has received a 50-game suspension without pay after a second positive test for a Drug of Abuse. The suspension of Rutledge, who is currently on the roster of the Single-A Frederick Keys of the Carolina League, will be effective at the start of the 2016 Carolina League season.
Arizona Diamondbacks Minor League left-handed pitcher Cameron Smith has received a 50-game suspension without pay following a violation of the Program. The suspension of Smith, who is currently on the roster of the rookie-level Missoula Osprey of the Pioneer League, will be effective at the start of the 2016 Pioneer League season.
