Two Minor League Players Suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that two Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Toronto Blue Jays Minor League right-handed pitcher Jose Brito has been suspended for 50 games without pay after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol.  The suspension of Brito, who is currently on the roster of the Dominican Summer League Blue Jays, will be effective at the start of next season.

New York Mets Minor League outfielder Hengelbert Rojas has been suspended for 50 games without pay after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol and Nandrolone.  The suspension of Rojas, who is currently on the roster of the Dominican Summer League Mets, will be effective at the start of next season.
