Countdown to the Cup will run from January to May with the U.S. playing a total of 10 games - two in Europe followed by eight domestic - before departing for France in pursuit of an unprecedented fourth World Cup title. The match at Busch Stadium is the only one to be played in the Midwest, and is the second to last stop on the tour.

The team first played at Busch Stadium in 2015 and defeated New Zealand 4-0 in front of 35,817 fans. St. Louis native, Lori Chalupny scored in that match. The U.S. played in St. Louis three times prior to that including a 5-1 win against Mexico at the Edward Jones Dome in 2007, a 4-1 win against France in 1996 and a 1-1 tie against Germany in 1998 at St. Louis Soccer Park.

The game marks the 6th soccer match at Busch. Tickets to the match, which start at $35, will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, December 13 at 10 a.m. at cardinals.com/soccer, ussoccer.com, the Busch Stadium box office and 314.345.9000.

The USA will learn its group opponents and schedule for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup this Saturday, Dec. 8, when the Final Draw is held in Paris. The show starts at 12 p.m. ET on FS2, Telemundo, Universo and the FOX Sports App. FOX Sports will offer extensive draw coverage beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET.
