Ventura gets call overturned on challenge

De Aza ruled safe at second on steal attempt after replay

HOUSTON -- A call involving an Alejandro De Aza stolen base attempt in the sixth inning of Saturday's game between the White Sox and Astros at Minute Maid Park was overturned by video replay.

De Aza singled to open the frame against reliever Josh Fields and was originally ruled out by second-base umpire Will Little on his ensuing stolen base attempt. The challenge from manager Robin Ventura resulted in the call being overturned, which left De Aza at second, although he did not come around to score after his fifth stolen base.

The White Sox are 3-for-8 in challenges, but have been successful in three of Ventura's last four.
