Two Cy Young Award winners -- Seattle's Félix Hernández and Detroit's Justin Verlander -- will meet on the diamond today as the Tigers and Mariners wrap a three-game series at Safeco Field.
The day's full 15-game slate also features starts by the Mets' Bartolo Colon, the Cubs' Jason Hammel and the White Sox's José Quintana as well as another installment in the American League East rivalry between the Red Sox and Yankees. All the action is available for streaming live on MLB.TV.

Here's what to watch for throughout the day (all times in ET):
Verlander, Felix duel in Seattle: DET@SEA, 10:10 p.m.
Today's matchup will be the fourth meeting between Hernandez and Verlander. These 12-year veterans haven't shared the field since April 17, 2009. Verlander enters the game on a roll; he's 5-0 with a 1.66 ERA since the start of July. He got the better of another star pitcher, outdueling Noah Syndergaard in a win over the Mets.
"Ver, I think, feeds off that type of stuff," Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said. "The more attention that's paid to a particular game or matchup ... his concentration goes up to another notch. He wants to be that guy."
Hernandez, meanwhile, is seeking a return to form since coming off the disabled list on July 20 (right calf strain). He's struggled at the onset of his three starts since, allowing three or more runs in the first two innings of each.
"He's struggled in the first inning, no doubt, to get the adrenaline pumping and locating pitches," Seattle manager Scott Servais said. "But to his credit, he's locked down. He hasn't bailed, he's hung in there and given us a chance to come back."
Stat that matters: Opponents are hitting just .156 (20-for-128) against Verlander over the last 30 days. That ranks second among all qualified starting pitchers in that span.

Quintana tries for double-digit wins: CWS@KC, 8:15 p.m.
Quintana will be seeking an elusive milestone when he takes the mound for the White Sox in Kansas City. The 27-year-old is vying for a career-high 10th win after three consecutive seasons of reaching nine. His 57 no decisions since 2012 lead all Major League pitchers in that span.
"I really try to get more than 10," Quintana said. "I try to help my team as much as I can. You help the team. That's the most important."
For the Royals, Ian Kennedy will take the ball. Unlike Quintana, Kennedy hasn't earned a win since June 26. Kennedy has pitched well in each of his last two outings, however, allowing just one run over 13 innings amid a lack of run support from the Kansas City bats.
Stat that matters: Quintana has faced the Royals 20 times, more than any other opponent. He's 1-8 with a 4.28 ERA in those 20 starts.

Colon takes on D-backs: ARI@NYM, 7:10 p.m.
Arizona remains the last of the Major League clubs Colon has yet to defeat in his 19-year career. He owns at least one win over the other 29 clubs and will look to make it an even 30 when the Mets host the D-backs at Citi Field. Colon has been uneven in five starts since the All-Star break, allowing one or no runs in three outings while surrendering five or more in two.
Southpaw Robbie Ray will start for the D-backs. Ray has lost his last three starts, allowing at least five runs in each.
"It's frustrating," Ray told reporters after his last start. "I don't need to tell you that; you can see it on my face."
Stat that matters: Despite his recent struggles, Ray has struck out 30 batters against five walks over his last three starts. He set a career-high with 10 strikeouts on July 23, then bested it five days later by fanning 11 batters on July 28.
