Twelve-year-old Shayna Hersh was reunited with Justin Verlander at Comerica Park on Friday. Shayna, who is battling cystic fibrosis, had the surprise of her lifetime last spring, when she met her idol at the MLB Fan Cave.

Seeing her reaction and passion for baseball in that video made me want to be in the Cave. The way she smiled when she hugged her favorite player brings instant joy. Seeing them share smiles again is incredible.
