Vin Scully Avenue to be dedicated Monday

April 9th, 2016

SAN FRANCISCO -- Vin Scully Avenue will be officially dedicated Monday at 11:15 a.m. PT at the Gate A entrance to Dodger Stadium at the corner of Stadium Way. Gates open at 10 a.m.
Formerly Elysian Park Avenue, the thoroughfare was renamed in honor of the Dodgers' Hall of Fame broadcaster, who has announced he will retire at the end of this season.

Scully, Dodgers CEO Stan Kasten, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and City Councilman Gil Cedillo will take part in the ceremony.
The Dodgers are off Monday and will play the home opener Tuesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
