Washington Nationals Host Toys for Tots Drive

The Washington Nationals will host the team's annual Toys for Tots Drive to benefit the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program on Saturday, July 27.  

Volunteers from the U.S. Marines Corps Reserve will accept donations of new, unwrapped toys for kids of all ages at the Center Field Gate from the time gates open at 1:30 p.m. through the end of the second inning. Volunteers will also be collecting donations during the Season Plan Holder Appreciation Event beginning at 10:30 a.m. 

More than 2,000 toys and $100,000 were collected during the past three Toys for Tots Drives. The toys collected will be distributed to nonprofit organizations and hospital pediatric wards throughout the D.C. Metropolitan Area during the holiday season. Since 1947, The U.S. Marines Corps Reserves has collected toys for children in need.
