Orioles-Rangers game postponed due to inclement weather

April 17th, 2016

ARLINGTON -- Sunday's game between the Texas Rangers and Baltimore Orioles, scheduled for 3:05 p.m. ET at Globe Life Park in Arlington, was postponed due to inclement weather.
The forecast called for moderate to heavy rain and showers in the area throughout the day on Sunday and Sunday night and continuing on Monday. As a result, the Rangers decided to postpone the game.
Sunday's game has been rescheduled for Monday, June 20, which is an open date for both teams at a time to be determined.
Mike Wright was scheduled to make the start Sunday for the Orioles, with Ubaldo Jimenez taking the hill Tuesday against the Blue Jays after an off-day and Chris Tillman starting on Wednesday. It is unknown how the postponement will affect the O's rotation.
