West Oakland BART Station closed Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2

OAKLAND, Calif. - On Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, the West Oakland BART Station will be closed and there will be no BART service between Oakland and San Francisco.

BART will provide transbay bus service at no extra charge between the 19th Street BART Station in Oakland and the Transbay Temporary Terminal in San Francisco. Delays are expected to last between one and two hours. Fans are encouraged to use other public transbay transportation options such as ferries and AC Transit service.

On Saturday, parking gates will open at 3 p.m., ballpark gates will open at 4:05 p.m. and first pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. On Sunday, parking gates will open at 9 a.m., ballpark gates will open at 11:05 a.m. and first pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m.
