Within striking distance of the National League West-leading Dodgers, the Rockies have a prime chance to gain ground with this weekend's series at Los Angeles. Colorado will be presented with a serious challenge tonight on MLB.TV, however, facing Clayton Kershaw in the second of three games at 10:10 ET.
While Kershaw struggled in his last start, tallying season highs in pitches, hits allowed and runs allowed, his counterpart on the mound tonight, Tyler Chatwood, has been stellar. Chatwood enters the matchup with a 1.73 ERA across a team-high 26 innings in June. The NL West duel is just one of 15 games on today's packed MLB.TV slate.

Twins try to reverse their luck: MIN@CLE, 4:10 p.m.
The AL Central's best two teams meet for the second in a three-game series with their fortunes swinging in wildly different directions. The Tribe is hot off a 7-1 road trip, which it began by sweeping the Twins and claiming first place. Minnesota will seek its retribution behind Kyle Gibson, who in his last start allowed three runs to the Indians' lineup in six innings' work. Cleveland counters with ace Corey Kluber, who's 8-5 with a 3.51 ERA against the Twins.

Sleepless in Seattle: HOU@SEA, 10:10 p.m.
Lance McCullers makes his return from the disabled list after being sidelined with lower back discomfort, hoping to pick up where he left off with a 6-1 record and 2.58 ERA. He'll square off against Sam Gaviglio, a rookie who's been reliable for Seattle since his May debut but will face a dangerous Astros lineup for the first time.

Bailey's back: CIN@WSH, 4:05 p.m.
The Reds' rotation could use the presence of Homer Bailey, author of two no-hitters, and hope the righty can adjust to Major League pitching in his 2017 debut. Bailey has recorded eight starts and three elbow surgeries since August 2014. Meanwhile, Washington's Joe Ross will try to make a recovery of a different sort, as he's been hampered by contact issues, having given up seven runs over his last 11 1/3 innings.
