Team to watch
Double-A Corpus Christi is led by the Astros' top overall prospect, shortstop Alex Bregman, and their three best pitching prospects in right-handers Francis Martes, David Paulino and Joe Musgrove. Outfielder Derek Fisher and third baseman J.D. Davis combined for 48 homers in Class A in 2015, their first full professional season. The Hooks have two 2015 draftees making the leap to Double-A in No. 2 overall pick Bregman and seventh-round lefty Michael Freeman.

New faces
Right-hander Brendan McCurry, who recorded a 1.37 ERA in two years in the Athletics' system before coming to the Astros in a November trade for Jed Lowrie, could zoom from Double-A to the big leagues this year. Two more Top 30 guys will make their debuts in the Astros organization this summer: middle infielder Jonathan Arauz, part of the Ken Giles deal with the Phillies in December, and outfielder Gilberto Celestino, who signed for $2.5 million out of the Dominican Republic last July.
