Team to watch
Led by 2014 South Atlantic League Most Valuable Player Wilmer Difo, much of the team that helped Class A Hagerstown reach the league's championship series is back together this season at Class A Advanced Potomac. Difo will again be joined in the lineup by powerful third baseman Drew Ward and speedy outfielder Rafael Bautista, while right-handers Nick Pivetta and Jake Johansen lead the pitching staff.

Remaining in Viera
Right-hander Lucas Giolito, the Nationals' No. 1 prospect and the top ranked pitcher on MLBPipeline.com's Top 100 Prospects list, and right-hander Reynaldo Lopez, one of the breakout stars of 2014, will begin the season in extended spring training. Neither is injured, the Nationals just want to be cautious with their precocious power pitchers and are delaying their start to the season by a few weeks. Also staying back for extended spring training is right-hander Erick Fedde, the club's top pick in the 2014 First-Year Player Draft, who is still recovering from Tommy John surgery last May.
