Team to watch
Double-A Montgomery will feature catcher Justin O'Conner and shortstop Daniel Robertson, the Rays' top two prospects. O'Conner reached Montgomery late last season, while Robertson will be making his organizational debut with the Biscuits after coming to the Rays as a part of the trade that sent Yunel Escobar and Ben Zobrist to the A's during the offseason.

On the mend
Right-hander Taylor Guerrieri, the Rays' top pick in the 2011 First-Year Player Draft, is one of a few pitchers in the organization who will begin the season recovering from injuries. Guerrieri is still working his way back following Tommy John surgery in 2013. Right-hander Alex Colome began the year on the disabled list in the Major Leagues following a bout of pneumonia that kept him out for a few weeks of Spring Training. Left-hander Enny Romero is expected to miss the first few weeks of the season at Triple-A Durham due to a back strain he suffered last month.
