Theme Nights and Promotions
The White Sox invite fans to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Hispanic Heritage Night and Fireworks, presented by Modelo, at Guaranteed Rate Field on Friday, September 22. Entertainment for the evening will include a ceremonial first pitch by Miss U.S. Latina Stefany Jacobo, a Gate 4 performance by Banda Nueva Raza, a pregame performance by Latin Street Music Dancing as well as additional vibrant Latin music and dancing. Fans also are encouraged to visit the concession stands at Guaranteed Rate Field to taste its traditional Hispanic foodofferings, including 35th Street tacos, elotes, Cuban Comet sandwich and churros. Orgullo Sox Night will take place on Saturday, September 23, continuing the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Entertainment will include Latin music and dancing, an on-field parade and a pregame performance by Mariachi Monumental de Mexico and the Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo Dancers. Additionally, the first 20,000 fans to enter the ballpark will receive an Orgullo Sox Soccer Style Jersey, presented by Coca-Cola. The White Sox will show appreciation for the dedication and passion White Sox fans displayed throughout the season with Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday, September 24. All fans in attendance will receive a free ticket voucher for a 2018 April or May home game (excluding Opening Day). Throughout the game, fans will have the opportunity to win an array of prizes throughout the ballpark. One lucky fan will win a 20-person suite for 2018 Opening Day at Guaranteed Rate Field. Fans also will have the opportunity to win other great prizes, including autographed Sox memorabilia, Beggars Pizza for a year, Coca-Cola Bluetooth speakers, two round-trip tickets provided by United Airlines and more. ChiSox Bar & Grill will offer half-priced appetizers, while the Chicago Sports Depot offers a special Fan Appreciation discount of buy one, get one 50 percent off. These activities will be accompanied by the kid-friendly activities offered on Coca-Cola Family Sunday, including children's running the bases postgame (weather permitting), balloon artists and face painters. Fans are invited to enjoy the baseball tradition of having a hot dog while cheering on the White Sox during $1 Hot Dog Wednesday on September 27. The popular large and juicy Vienna Beef premium hot dogs will be available for $1 at Guaranteed Rate Field's concession stands on the 100 and 500-level concourses and in-seat vending as well as club level concessions. There will be a limit of four per person per concession visit, while supplies last. The $1 Hot Dog Wednesdays promotion excludes Comiskey Dogs, a specialty Chicago-style hot dog.

All fans in attendance on Sunday, September 24 will receive a free ticket voucher for a 2018 April or May home game (excluding Opening Day) as part of Fan Appreciation Day. An array of additional prizes also will be given away throughout the game.
 
The first 10,000 fans to enter the ballpark on Thursday, September 28, will receive a fan-designed White Sox T-shirt, presented by the Village of Bedford Park, as part of Free T-Shirt Thursdays. The T-shirt was designed by Mat Seibert, a 26-year-old Tinley Park native and winner of the 2017 Free T-shirt Thursday Fan Design Contest. Tickets are available at whitesox.com/Thursdays.
 
Special Guests
Miss U.S. Latina 2016 Stefany Jacobo will throw out a ceremonial first pitch in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Night on Friday, September 22. Jacobo made history on October 1, 2016, becoming the first Indiana resident to take home the title. The Crown Point native works as a finance coordinator for the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute. As Miss U.S. Latina 2016 and Miss Indiana Latina 2015, Jacobo has dedicated her time and effort to help make a life-long impact on students and community members by fostering a culture of education.
 
Chicago Wolves Head Coach Rocky Thompson will throw out a ceremonial first pitch on Monday, September 25. Thompson played parts of 12 seasons of professional hockey and spent one season as an assistant coach for the Edmonton Oilers. He recently coached the Windsor Spitfires to their third Memorial Cup championship in franchise history this past season. He is entering his first year as Chicago Wolves head coach.
 
Ukrainian Village nutritionist Caitlin Meade will throw a ceremonial pitch on Tuesday, September 26. Meade was recently a top five contestant on the eighth season of Fox's hit cooking competition show "MasterChef," which is judged by Gordon Ramsay.
 
University of Illinois-Chicago Director of Athletics Garrett Klassy will throw out a ceremonial first pitch on Wednesday, September 27. Klassy began his role at UIC in August. He has more than 20 years of experience in intercollegiate athletics from across the country, including roles at George Washington University in Washington D.C., Tulane University in New Orleans, University of Alabama and University of Oregon.
 
Two-time Olympic beach volleyball medalist April Ross will throw out a ceremonial first pitch on Thursday, September 28. Ross won a silver medal with Jennifer Kessy in the 2012 Olympic Games in London Olympics and a bronze medal with Kerri Walsh Jennings in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. More recently, she earned silver at the 2017 FIVB Beach World Championships with Lauren Fendrick; this was her second World Champs podium finish. She and Walsh Jennings had six medals in the 2016 Olympic qualifications and won gold three times on the 2016 AVP Tour.
