White Sox continue partnerships with area youth leagues
Team to Outfit Young Athletes with Uniforms and Caps, Provide Training Tips and Special Ticket Offers
CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox are continuing their partnering with several Chicagoland youth baseball leagues to provide all players and coaches in the participating youth leagues with jerseys and caps for the spring baseball season, including new partnerships with four leagues. Like last year, the youth teams will sport White Sox uniforms, with the teams being differentiated by color or variations in Sox uniform styles (e.g. white with black pinstripes, black, grey and 1983 throwback jersey, among others), reaching up to nearly 12,000 kids in the Chicagoland area.
Chicagoland youth baseball organizations partnering with the White Sox for the first time in 2014 include: Frankfort Square Baseball League; Park Ridge Baseball/Softball; Dyer Little League and Dyer Girls Softball League. Youth organizations continuing the partnership from 2013 include: the Downers Grove Youth Baseball League; Elmhurst Youth Baseball League; Oak Park Youth Baseball/Softball League and the Orland Park Youth Baseball League. Several of the youth leagues participating in the partnership have been strong supporters of White Sox group ticket programs in the past. The White Sox honor this support by offering youth leagues special ticket offers throughout the 2014 season.

It is a great opportunity to create more players and fans of the game while allowing the league to focus on field and equipment improvements."
Throughout the season, the White Sox also will provide the leagues and teams with instructional videos featuring White Sox players and coaches. In addition, the team will recognize a player from each league during every White Sox homestand by having the young athletes' photos and names featured on U.S. Cellular Field's center field scoreboard.
