White Sox kick off 2014 ticket sales with series of events

White Sox Ticket Tour To Hit 16 Beggars Pizza and Hooters Locations With Tickets and Autographed Items On Thursday

Tickets Go On Sale Friday Prior to the Team's First Cactus League Game, Which Will Broadcast on 670 The Score

CHICAGO - To kick off individual game tickets going on sale this Friday at 10 a.m., the Chicago White Sox will hold the White Sox Ticket Tour, a 16-location tour at Chicagoland Beggars Pizza and Hooters locations, where front office staff will be present with tickets to Opening Day, Sox merchandise and autographed items. Legend Minnie Minoso, organist Lori Moreland and mascot Southpaw will visit Beggars Pizza in Lansing, Ill. as part of the tour.

The White Sox Ticket Tour will visit five Beggars Pizza and 11 Hooters locations throughout the Chicagoland area on Thursday, February 27, between 6-8 p.m. (Beggars 6-7 p.m. and Hooters 7-8 p.m.).

Individual game tickets to 2014 Chicago White Sox home games at U.S. Cellular Field go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 28, at 10 a.m. on whitesox.com and by phone at (866) SOX-GAME. Later that day, the White Sox will start Cactus League play vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers at 2:05 p.m. (CT), with the game broadcast on 670 The Score, the team's radio flagship, as well as webcast at whitesox.com.
