White Sox option Chris Beck to Class AAA Charlotte

BALTIMORE - Following Game 2 of today's doubleheader at Baltimore, the Chicago White Sox optioned right-handed pitcher Chris Beck to Class AAA Charlotte.

Beck, 24, made his major-league debut as the Game 2 starter. He suffered the loss, allowing five runs (four earned) on 10 hits over 6.0 IP.

Following the move, the White Sox active roster returns to 25.
