Following tonight's series finale vs. Boston, the Chicago White Sox optioned right-handed pitcher Erik Johnson to Class AAA Charlotte.
Johnson, 26, suffered the loss tonight in his season debut after allowing four runs on eight hits with six strikeouts over 5.0 IP.
The White Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to tomorrow night's series opener vs. Minnesota.
