White Sox option rookie OF Garcia to Triple-A

The White Sox optioned outfielder Willy Garcia to Triple-A Charlotte following Sunday's 10-0 loss to the Rockies. The team will make a corresponding roster move before Friday's game against the Mariners to open the second half.

Garcia hit .259 (22-for-85) in 35 games over two stints with the White Sox this season. The 24-year-old rookie had five doubles, three triples, one home run, 10 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
