White Sox reinstate Adam Eaton from disabled list

Prior to tonight's game vs. Cleveland, the Chicago White Sox returned Adam Eaton from his injury rehabilitation assignment at Class AAA Charlotte and reinstated the outfielder from the 15-day disabled list.

Eaton, 25, was placed on the disabled list on August 9 with a strained right oblique. He went 3-10 with a double, RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in two games with the Knights on his rehab assignment.

Eaton is hitting .304 (113-372) with 19 doubles, seven triples, one home run, 32 RBI, 55 runs scored and 12 stolen bases in 94 games this season, his first with the White Sox. He was 37-85 (.435) in his last 22 games prior to going on the disabled list.
