White Sox reinstate Emilio Bonifacio from the Bereavement List
Option Leury Garcia to Class AAA Charlotte
CLEVELAND - Prior to today's game at Cleveland, the Chicago White Sox reinstated infielder Emilio Bonifacio from the Bereavement List and optioned infielder Leury Garcia to Class AAA Charlotte.
Bonifacio, 30, was placed on the Bereavement List on Thursday and missed three games. He is hitting .160 (12-75) with three RBI in 44 games this season.
Garcia, 24, went 1-1 on Thursday at Progressive Field in his only appearance.
