Following Game 2 of Friday's doubleheader vs. the Oakland Athletics, the Chicago White Sox returned right-handed pitcher Thyago Vieira to Class AAA Charlotte.
Vieira, 25, served as the 26th man for the second game but did not pitch. He is 0-2 with a 4.40 ERA (15 ER/30.2 IP), 42 strikeouts and four saves in 26 relief appearances with Charlotte this season.
