White Sox release details for Saturday's pregame jersey retirement ceremony for Mark Buehrle's No. 56

The Chicago White Sox will honor former pitcher Mark Buehrle with a special pregame tribute on Saturday, June 24, when the team takes on Oakland. The memorable presentation will include special guests and video tributes that celebrate Buehrle's career as a member of the White Sox, as well as the legacy of former players whose numbers also have been retired by the White Sox.
 
The ceremony will be broadcast on CSN, WLS-AM 890 and WRTO 1200 AM Univision Radio as well as online at whitesox.com and on Facebook Live on the White Sox page. The White Sox announced the following tentative schedule for the special pregame tribute: 
 
9:00 a.m. - ChiSox Bar & Grill restaurant (near Gate 5 of Guaranteed Rate Field) opens.
 
10:10 a.m. - Parking lots open.
Free shuttle service will be available from remote parking lots at the Illinois Institute of Technology (33rd and State). Remote parking lots are cash only. Fans without pre-paid parking passes arriving at noon or later are encouraged to proceed directly to the remote parking lots at I.I.T. Fans are encouraged to use public transportation (CTA/Metra/Pace). Fans should follow the White Sox on Twitter (@whitesox) for the latest updates on parking lot and gate information on June 24.
 
11:10 a.m. - Gates to the ballpark and the Chicago Sports Depot (near Gate 5 of Guaranteed Rate Field) open.
All fans attending Saturday's game will receive a No. 56 lapel pin honoring Mark Buehrle.
 
12:15 p.m. - Fans are encouraged to be in their seats for the pregame ceremony.
 
1:10 p.m. - Game vs. Oakland is schedule to begin.
 
Limited tickets remain available - including Standing Room Only tickets - at whitesox.com, the Guaranteed Rate Field box office (Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.) or by calling 866-SOX-GAME.
