White Sox to Honor Jose Abreu and Alexei Ramirez Prior to Sunday's Game
White Sox Infielders Receive Awards for 2014 Achievements
WHAT: The Chicago White Sox will celebrate the 2014 accomplishments of first baseman Jose Abreu and shortstop Alexei Ramirez in a pregame presentation on Sunday, April 26. Both players will receive their Silver Slugger Awards from Louisville Slugger representatives. Abreu also will receive his Rookie of the Year Greatness In Baseball Yearly (GIBBY) Award and be honored for his 2014 Jackie Robinson American League Rookie of the Year Award from the Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA). Abreu was also named the AL Rookie of the Year by Sporting News and the Players Choice AL Outstanding Rookie. Fans will have the opportunity to take photos of the trophies on display in the Trophy Zone at Section 157.
This ceremony was rescheduled for pregame Sunday after today's 1:10 p.m. CT game was rained out. A makeup date has not been determine for today's game, and fans are asked to keep their tickets and parking coupons until a rescheduled date and time have been announced. Friday's suspended will be resumed at 1:10 p.m. with the start of the ninth inning, and the regularly scheduled game will begin following the conclusion of the suspended game.

TICKETS: Fans with tickets dated April 26 will be allowed to enter the ballpark to see both games. Tickets dated for April 24 will not be accepted for entry into the ballpark on Sunday but can be brought to the U.S. Cellular Field box office to purchase a discounted outfield reserved seat for $10 for the April 26 game only. Tickets for Sunday's game are available at whitesox.com, the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office (Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.) or by calling 866-SOX-GAME.
