White Sox to host Country Music Night on August 9

Game features variety of entertainment including a performance by country recording artist Kristen Kelly & post game fireworks

The Chicago White Sox will host "Country Music Night," presented by Pepsi, on Friday, August 9 at 7:10 p.m. against Minnesota. The game features a variety of entertainment, including a live performance by Arista Nashville country music artist Kristen Kelly, and post game fireworks.

The White Sox will pay tribute to country music throughout the game as part of a partnership with Nashville's famous Grand Ole Opry, Chicago's most listened to Country station US99.5 and Joe's Bar.

As part of the festivities, the White Sox will host pregame entertainment featuring a chance to win prizes from US99.5 at Gate 3 and a performance by Back Country Roads at Gate 4.

Following the game, there will be a fireworks display set to country music, recorded live from the Grand Ole Opry Stage, courtesy of Pepsi. Additionally, all fans 21 and older will receive free admission to Joe's Bar with their August 9 game ticket to enjoy a concert from Kristen Kelly.

In honor of Country Music Night, White Sox fans also can enter the Music City Grand Slam Sweepstakes, which features round-trip airfare from Chicago to Nashville and two-night accommodations in Nashville, Tenn. at the Inn at Opryland. The trip includes two tickets to a performance at the Grand Ole Opry, a backstage tour for two, and a tour of the Ryman Auditorium.

A limited number of tickets for Country Music Night remain available with lower level tickets starting at $10.
