Aragua 9, Magallanes 8
Minnesota outfielder Oswaldo Arcia homered and scored twice for Aragua, and Ronny Cedeno had three hits in the victory. Veteran catcher Ramon Hernandez had two hits in the loss for Magallanes. Box score

Zulia 4, Caracas 0
Elvis Araujo threw four one-hit innings for Zulia, and right-hander Guillermo Moscoso took the loss for Caracas. Ernesto Mejia, a slugger in Atlanta's organization, homered twice for Zulia in the win. Box score

Margarita 4, Caribes 2 (Game 1)
Baltimore left-hander T.J. McFarland allowed all four earned runs in this game for Caribes, and Carlos Rivero homered and doubled for Margarita in the victory. Cory Aldridge homered for Caribes. Box score

Caribes 3, Margarita 1 (Game 2)
Mark Serrano, a right-hander in Arizona's organization, threw six two-hit innings, earning the victory. Eduardo Escobar supported him with a home run. Max Ramirez homered for Margarita's only run. Box score

La Guaira 13, Lara 12 (13 innings)
In a back and forth battle between two heavyweight lineups, it was La Guaira who came out on top. The two teams combined for 38 hits. After back-to-back singles by C.J. Retherford and Buck Britton, Jose Gonzalez hit what proved to be a game winning RBI single in the top of the 13th. Box score

Navojoa 2, Los Mochis 1
Navojoa allowed a run in the top of the sixth but scored two in the bottom of the frame, and that was all the offense the game would see. Jake Fox hit an RBI double in the top half of the inning, before Diego Madero and Alan Sanchez had RBI singles in the bottom of the frame. Hector Velazquez got his third win of the season, allowing one run on three hits in six innings. Box score

Culiacan 5, Guasave 3
A four-run third inning by Culiacan proved to be the difference in the game. Sergio Gastelum provided the thump, going 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Johan Limonta also went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Rodrigo Lopez got his first win of the season, allowing one run on seven hits in five innings. Box score

Hermosillo 4, Obregon 3
A three-run fourth inning proved to be all the offense Obregon could muster. Meanwhile, Hermosillo had a steady attack, scoring throughout the game. Omir Santos led the way, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Miami's Marcell Ozunawent 2-for-4. Miguel Batista got the win, his first of the season. Reliever Jhan Marinez got the loss, allowing two runs in one-third of an inning. Box score

Aguilas 7, Escogido 5
Aguilas built up a solid lead, scoring seven runs after six innings, and was able to hold on for the win. Juan Lagares went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Yankees No. 6 prospect Zoilo Almonte went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Angel Castro got his fourth win of the season, allowing two runs on five hits in six innings. Box score

Mayaguez 5, Santurce 2
Santurce may have outhit Mayaguez, but it was a three-run eighth inning by Mayaguez that changed the outcome of the game. The big blow came on a three-run home run by Jerry Sands, marking his second homer of the season. Reliever Nelvin Fuentes took the loss. Box score

Caguas 7, Carolina 1
Scoring early and often, Caguas had a balanced attack. Juan Silva went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs. Johnny Monell was 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two RBIs. Michael Nix got his first win of the season, allowing one run on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings. Box score
