All but one Escogido starter had a hit, with Bryce Brentz and Fernando Martinez leading the way with three RBIs apiece. Brentz, who spent most of the season in the Red Sox organization with Triple-A Pawtucket, had the only home run for Escogido, a three-run shot in the sixth inning. After Omar Javier exited -- allowing two runs in five innings -- Estrellas' bullpen imploded, allowing 10 runs on eight hits. Box score
