Iker Franco's two-out, two-run double tied the game for Obregon in the bottom of the ninth inning, but Navojoa scored again in the top of the 10th on a Jon Weber RBI single and held on for the victory. John Lindsey homered for Navojoa, and Carlos Valencia hit a solo blast for Obregon. Box score
Hermosillo 6, Mazatlan 1
Hermosillo got five shutout innings from starter Bryan Evans and scored early (two runs in the first inning) and late (three in the ninth) for the win. Luis Garcia and Jerry Owens had two hits apiece for Hermosillo, and Heber Gomez added a three-run homer. Jeremy Acey drove in Mazatlan's lone run. Box score

Los Mochis used a five-run fifth inning to break this one open, with the big blow being a grand slam by shortstop Emmanuel Avila. Los Mochis also got five solid innings (one run on four hits) from starter Francisco Cordova and a homer from Rodolfo Amador. Box score
Mexicali 3, Culiacan 2, 10 innings
Xorge Carrillo's two-out, bases-loaded single in the bottom of the 10th inning allowed Mexicali to walk off winners of a hard-fought game. Carrillo finished 2-for-4 with an RBI and Brad Snyder also went 2-for-4 and added a homer for Mexicali. Former big leaguer Jorge Cantu went 2-for-5 with a double for Culiacan. Box score
