In a back-and-forth battle, it was Gigantes who came out on top. Jonathan Diaz hit what proved to be the game-winning single in the 11th inning, scoring Carlos Paulino from third. With 19 pitchers used in the contest, it was reliever Franquelis Osoria who got the win, striking out two and allowing just one hit in two scoreless frames. Box score
