• Reds third baseman Todd Frazier designated the Baseball United Foundation's "Grand Slam for Sandy" fundraising effort as the recipient of a $10,000 grant from the Major League Baseball Players Trust, it was announced Tuesday. Frazier, a resident of Toms River, N.J., who has donated time to fellow residents of his state with hurricane relief, received $20,000 in November for winning the Players Choice Award for most outstanding rookie.
