• Right-hander Sergio Santos' scheduled appearance Tuesday against the Pirates was cancelled because he was suffering from flu-like symptoms. Santos reported to Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in the morning, but was quickly sent home after visiting with a member of the club's medical staff.

• The Blue Jays' home Grapefruit League season at the Florida Auto Exchange came to an end with Tuesday's 6-3 win against the Pirates. They sold 78,544 tickets this spring, which is the club's fourth-highest total all-time and the most since 1994.
