• Former closer Frank Francisco was scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday with Class A St. Lucie. Francisco underwent surgery in December to remove a bone spur from his right elbow and did not appear in an official spring game. Bobby Parnell has served as the closer in his absence, converting his only save opportunity on Saturday.
• St. Lucie has officially added left-hander Pedro Feliciano to its roster. The Mets did not carry Feliciano on their Opening Day roster, asking him to remain in Florida to work on increasing his fastball velocity from the low to mid 80s.
• Tickets for the June 2 soccer match between Israel and Honduras went on sale Monday at mets.com/soccer. The international soccer matches at Citi Field in 2011 and '12 both drew more than 30,000 fans.
