Worth noting

• With a 12th-inning single to left field, Ruggiano extended his hitting streak to six games on Saturday. He finished 1-for-4, including striking out in the second inning against Reds starter Bronson Arroyo. It was Arroyo's 1,000th strikeout with Cincinnati.

• Steve Cishek allowed a run for the first time in his career against Cincinnati (eight games, six innings pitched).

• Through 18 games, only one Marlins starting pitcher -- Alex Sanabia -- has notched a win this season. Sanabia, in fact, has two. He's 2-1 with a 4.24 ERA.
