Worth noting

• Baker didn't have any new information regarding Phillips, who was running sprints in shorts while his team warmed up on the field before Monday's game.

"I haven't talked to him," Baker said of Phillips, who has a left forearm contusion. "I don't anticipate anything to be much different. He's probably still sore. He's been working it out. I see him squeezing rubber balls and squeezing hand grips."

• Baker also said it's too early to know the status of left-handed reliever Sean Marshall, who went on the 15-day DL on May 24, retroactive to May 21, with a left shoulder sprain.

"He's progressing well," Baker said. "I hope so."
