Worth noting

• The Blue Jays announced that Esmil Rogers, Mark Buehrle and Josh Johnson will start during the three-game series against the Rangers this weekend. The Rangers will miss R.A. Dickey. But if the Blue Jays stay in rotation, Dickey would likely pitch on Saturday, June 15, against the Rangers at the Ballpark in Arlington. He has not pitched against his former team since 2009.

• The Rangers have released infielder Mark Teahen from Triple-A Round Rock. They have also activated first baseman Ronaldo Guzman off the disabled list at Class A Hickory. He had been sidelined since Spring Training because of a knee injury.

• Joe Nathan is 15-for-15 in save opportunities against the Red Sox going into Tuesday's game. That's the most career saves of any pitcher all-time against the Red Sox without a blown save.
