Worth noting

• Texas agreed to terms with 12 of the 41 players the club selected in the First-Year Player Draft, including fourth-rounder Isiah Kiner-Falefa, a shortstop out of Mid Pacific Institute in Hawaii, and fifth-rounder Joe Jackson, a catcher and descendant of former Major Leaguer "Shoeless" Joe Jackson.

• Second baseman Ian Kinsler, who is on the disabled list with a right intercostal strain, resumed baseball activities Saturday by swinging off a tee, Rangers assistant general manager Thad Levine said. Kinsler has not played since May 17 and there is no timetable for his return.
