Worth noting

• Gonzalez claimed his 500th career managerial victory with Sunday night's win over the Giants. Gonzalez entered Tuesday with a .570 (224-169) winning percentage since becoming the Braves' manager before the start of the 2011 season. The Yankees (.585) and Rangers (.578) are the only Major League clubs with better winning percentages during this stretch.

• B.J. Upton entered Tuesday having hit .250 with four home runs and a .946 OPS in June. His six extra-base hits this month are two fewer than his combined total from April and May.
