Worth noting

• The bruising in Brandon Crawford's right index and middle fingers had diminished prior to the start of Thursday's game. Manager Bruce Bochy did not put him in the starting lineup, but said he could be available in Thursday's game depending on how batting practice went. He pinch-ran in Wednesday's win after spraining the fingers Tuesday.

• The Giants announced reliever Ramon Ramirez has cleared release waivers and is a free agent. He was designated for assignment June 13 after allowing seven earned runs in 5 2/3 innings.

• Marlins right fielder Giancarlo Stanton entered Thursday night's game with 25 home runs and 50 RBIs in 50 career games in National League West ballparks. He hit two home runs and drove in all three runs in a 3-2 win at Arizona on Monday.

• The Giants recorded their 200th consecutive sellout at AT&T Park on Wednesday with an announced attendance of 41,866.
